Hi,

Can someone from Sacramento area recommend me the best and affordable place for getting a tint on my Civic Si? Also I am thinking of wrapping the roof in black as my car is ralley red.

I checked with imperial works but I am just looking for affordable options

I've used 5 Star Tinting on my last 3 vehicles. David is the owner and has been in business for many years. He was located on Sunrise/Fair Oaks area for years and moved to a bigger facility in Rancho. No issues on any of his work...

I 2nd Edd post above. "5 star Window tint" David did my car a few months ago I did the top of the line Rayno S9 Ceramic tint. Came out perfect, awesome attention to detail and was willing to work with me on a great price. 20%fronts/Limo rears. See attachments.

I used Deluxe Window Tinting. I don't think it was the least expensive. I also had to go back because the first time the windshield tint had some scratches in my direct view (I thought those were "streaky air bubbles" at first, till I found out they weren't). He did it free of charge. The waiting area is nice with a TV + soundbar for Netflix, as well as a screen where you can see them do the work on your vehicle.

I had a fine experience with them and will do business with them again I'm sure, but I have no way of recommending versus not because I haven't dealt with other places around here, nor have I had car windows tinted before.

The only really concrete thing there I can say is the ceramic tinting options were 75%, 45%, 35%, 20%, 10%, 5% (I believe). Shame there wasn't a 60% option for the windshield, so I went 45 lol.

That being said, I need to ask some of you guys (without hijacking this thread) about the best mod shops around here, or who is interested in some DIY work with me on engine and gearbox parts haha.
