Just put in the DRL+FOG+HIGHBEAM module from @alejandroads123

I love em

The install was pretty straightforward, and @alejandroads123 provides an install video that is real time step by step.

Make sure all of your wires and taps are properly seated. I didn't have one of the connector tabs correctly inserted, and the fog module didn't work. After reinserting the tab, all was well!

Now I just need to decide if I want to go yellow fogs or not

I'm doing something similar where the high beams, when selected by a switch, will pick up a relay on the drls and on the fogs.

For those that want an alternative to buying a module, one can easily tap LED fogs into the DRL circuit under the dash so they are always on. I accomplished it for a grand total of 9 bucks...$6 for the h8 LED fogs and $3 for the circuit tap, both from ebay. You'll have to run your own wiring from the dash to the lights. The low wattage of the LED's makes tapping directly into the circuit board for power possible & safe. One minor downside, you can never turn off the fogs. They are always on but I think that's what most of us are going for.

I like the idea of this but if I ever do it, Iā€™m just going to make harnesses with stock connectors so none of that quick connect disaster can ruin the wiring :dunno:

I hear that. Great idea but those taps I hate using. Makes a great idea look down and dirty.

I just saw heā€™s selling a plug and play kit now. Looks way better.

I just jumped two wires from separate connectors both of which are on the bcm and have full independent fog lights.

also installed drl stay bright modules someone was selling on here, in the pic I only installed it on passenger side. (The car is completely off, so the driver drl is the normal ā€œdimā€)

EDIT: @Brisco is the guy who I got the drl stay bright modules from!

I jumped the fog light switch wire, and the fog relay negative wire. It completes the ground to the fog light relay when the switch is on. But I need to install a relay that energizes and connects the modified circuit when the car turns on, so like an add a circuit with the fuses to power the relay, because the fog lights will stay on as long as the switch is on, and the car is off. (The headlights would go out controlled by the bcm, but the fogs would stay on.) my car is a 19 sedan sport, I donā€™t know if different years or trims have different wire colors/connectors/numbers. This wiring diagram is specific to my car.
