Installed my Raceseng Slammer yesterday on my lunch break. I need to get the collar for the boot, the knob sits lower than the stock collar so I can't clip it back up. Overall I like it, definitely has some weight to it. And the quality is phenomenal!

Of course now that I already installed my Slammer (the best knob I've EVER seen btw) and made it work with the Acuity collar, Raceseng comes out with this! Ahhhh

Yeah I got the regular shift collar from Raceseng. Didn't know I'd need it till i put it all together. Actually just installed it last night, so now it sits flush.

It's a USB extender, they started coming with the 2019's if I remember correctly.
Ah, nevermind. I thought it looked like there were 2 usb cables plugged into the adapter with one cable coming out and I was wondering what witchcraft that was.

Here's my sphereology in red satin translucent in my CTR. It's huge and heavy and I've been completely satisfied. Only took me about a week to receive after ordering.

Thanks. Yep, I ended up getting one and I love it. Funk the Skunk, Raceseng is well worth three times the cost.

Superklasse sends a brass M10-1.5 to M12-1.5 adapter since their shifter has M12 thread and our civics have a M10 on the lever. But if you snug up this adapter all the way down against our factory retainer nut then you won’t be able to clip the me boot collar when the knob is fully tightened. The knob will essentially push it off when you tighten it.

So i placed a M10 nut with a nylon insert between the boot retainer nut and the brass adapter. Then left enough space for the boot collar to clip in then tightened the two. May need to finesse it a bit so that the knob has the proper orientation when fully tightened. I hope this helps.
I ordered a Superklasse shift knob around Thanksgiving, and it appears that they have changed the way they do the knob. The knob they sent me does thread directly on to the shifter. In other words, they now make it threaded to Honda's M10, rather than require an adapter. The problem is, once you thread the knob all the way down on to Honda's locking nut, as far as I can tell, there is no way to snap the boot collar back on. I wish I had known this before I ordered. I inquired about their install instructions before purchasing, and they told me to look on the CivicX forums for reports from other owners who have purchased their knob. If someone who owns the Superklasse knob sees this and thinks I am doing something wrong, I would appreciate any suggestions. I am not at all skilled at this.

I gather that people are pretty happy with the new 27Won shift knob, although some have reported it sits a bit higher than the OEM knob. I like that the OEM knob is so low, but I may try the 27Won next. So far I have been using the OEM knob with a Blox beanie, but I would prefer a more permanent solution to the cold / heat issue with the metal knob.

UPDATE: I have been in touch with SuperKlasse, and they told me they now include their own locking nut, but erroneously did not include it in my package. They are sending it along now. So I will hold off judgment until I get their nut (heh heh) and update accordingly. They mentioned that some recent buyers have also used the Acuity shift boot collar upgrade.

I've had the SuperKlasse runabout shift knob for a few months now. Definitely a HUGE upgrade over stock. They machined it with the proper thread pattern for the OEM Honda shifter and supplied a locking nut. I installed the Acuity Shift Boot Collar at the same time and I highly recommend this combo.

Can you install it without going to the Acuity Boot collar? I am not anxious to tear my dash apart. UPDATE: Superklasse told me you can either use their locking nut or the Acuity collar. We will see.

Are the Super Klasse shift knob threads plastic or metal? If plastic, will this be an issue at all?

I tried the 27won shift knob but ended up sending it back. I didn't like the height of it, made me more likely to bang into the dash and made the throws longer.

Metal, looks like good quality to me.
