Hi all. After impacting some heavy road debris and experiencing a tire blowout, I’ve noticed that my steering wheel has developed a small amount of extra free play. I’ve had the various suspension bushings checked and they all appear to be in good shape. I know that older Civics had a Power Steering preload adjustment nut on the rack itself, which could be used to eliminate free play and stiffen things back up. Since the 10th gens all use electronic power steering, I wasn’t sure if this adjustment is still possible, but I’m interested in finding out.

Does anyone know if this is a thing on our cars? I’ve included a YouTube vide that I found of this adjustment on another car.
