My infotainment dies samething..I need take it in..then somedays it doesnt..same with bluetooth
Not sure how the problem is categorized but the service manager looked up my VIN# and it said to replace head unit. Some VINs only required a screen replacement or only a software update. Make sure they contact Honda to find out which category your car fall into for repair.

My dealership is 40+ miles from my home because they were the closest one of two dealerships with the egp. I told the service tech that I wasn't waiting days for my car, my appointment was first thing in the morning and I picked it up that night. All my settings were in the new head unit, I didn't have to reprogram anything.

Are you guys getting any of the dents near the doors up top like some sedan owners are reporting? Also any subwoofer rattle? Seems like a rough start for this new Civic so far
None of that. But I am having trouble with audio/software.

Seems to be common among the ppl who post here, I've only had one issue when I was trying to connect to Android Auto while the car was in ACC mode (no engine running) and kept getting a loud "pop" feedback, no other audio. Fixed itself after turning the car off again and haven't bothered retracing those steps.

You're lucky there. I've experienced the loud popping sound, that sounds like it's a max volume because it hurts my ears, 4-5 times and I bought the car a week ago today. Rebooting the touch screen worked at first but now rebooting won't work. I have to kill the car for at least a few minutes and it'll work but if it happens everyday that's a bit rediculous imo. The cover over my third brake light also won't stick again since getting my windows tinted. Just a lot of faulty things so far..

I work in parts at a Honda dealer, and we've tried every part , the clips, the cover itself. It I.ordered some of the scotch 4008 mounting tape another forum member posted about. Hopefully that helps. Keeping my eyes peeled for any new software updates ( imagine with both of.us getting ext the same week, probably built close together.

Pressing the brake hold button once should turn on the light that says "BRAKE HOLD" in the instrument panel. If this brake hold light is on and you come to a stop, the light for "HOLD" should then appear. When you press the accelerator to take off again, "HOLD" should disappear. "BRAKE HOLD" will remain there until you disable it. If that's what is happening, that is normal.

My dealership told me they used a strong compound, and then held the piece up with masking tape for 24 hours while it dried. They said heat in the vehicle is why this is happening.

My brake light came loose earlier this week :( I can push it back on but so far it came loose once. When it is on though its a little warped, the end of the cover dips a little so the brake light leaks out at night. Going to the dealer friday, will bring it to their attention and see what they do, hope i can get a new piece, shocked that Honda didnt use hard plastic.

Well they tried replacing the adhesive and velcrow pieces, and then the whole piece with velcrow and it still fell down right away so finally they tried the compound and it's worked so far. Chances are, they'll try those with yours first and it'll fall before you even leave so be prepared lol but yes it's kinda frustrating
