I guess it depends on where you live because it was cheaper with shipping to order them directly from ngk.

NGK website states those as not being compatible with the Si and it says it should be this plug ILZKAR8H8S. A forum post from PRL states the ILZKAR8H8S as being the non si plug so getting some conflicting reports. Anyone know whats going on here? Need to replace my plugs soon so wanna make sure im puting in proper plugs

I put those on and on my first pull, I had detonation and blew my block. Make sure the plug ends with a “Y”. Those are the Si plugs

I am curious, where did you purchase the spark plugs that were installed prior to the engine failure?

Oreilly’s. They were ngk also. They said it’s the OEM Si. Nope..
Gotcha. Lot of fakes out there so I was curious. Oreilly's should be a reliable genuine NGK source though. I don't think non-Si spark plugs would have made your engine blow up, but having the prescribed plugs installed is certainly more ideal.

Having the wrong plugs can cause detonation. I mean my very first Drive and pull, and only at half throttle to slowly build the boost, it blew.

"Wrong plugs" is a very broad statement. I am genuinely curious what is so different about the non-Si plugs that caused Honda to spec different ones for the Si. Regardless, I can understand strong feelings about the plugs after your experience.
