The center portion is chrome and I was surprised seeing that in person. These are the clear/amber version I have to give you a better idea.

I like to think of that as matching my headlights, personally.

I don't like the smoked ones that are completely dark on this car. This is by far the best looking side-marker to date (in a lights off approach, that is) for the MSM Civic lineup.

Yeah it goes with the chrome/polished parts on some cars, I'm just now sure how it'll look on the CTR since it's all blacked out. I have a set on order regardless and will see how I like them once installed.

And you're right, I'm used to a clear LED. The smoked ones look so good with the car, though.

I'm glad to hear they only come on with the headlights. Must have been because it was nighttime that I was able to see them on concurrently with the DRL's only.

It's reflective to meet regulation for a reflective piece within the Side Marker Housing. Personally I'm a fan of it :)

Unfortunately the wonderful job I have I work 12 to 14 hours a day and go home during the witching hours so the weekend is the best for me

I ended up putting in a pre-order for a set of the smoked/white LED last week or so. Can't wait til February when they come in. :D
