I just bought my 2016 Touring from a dealer. There are some minor and some major cosmetic aspects of the car I want to repair. After reviewing forum threads, videos, and as much information as I could find, I went and bought some PlastX and attempted removing the scratches. However, I either did something wrong or the scratches are too deep.
I saw a guide for taking apart the console, but I have been unable to be absolutely sure about the specific part I'm looking for. I checked https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2016-honda-civic-4dr-tour-ka-cvt/console.html and I'm unsure which part it is. I specifically mean the part where the lever indicates the driving mode with a light next to the lever.
Can anybody advise on removing scratches or replacing the piece?
Thank you in advance.
