Vincent@27won: How far out is this from production? The simpler the better I think. blends in with the stock si interior:)

Based on everyone's positive feedback we are going to roll right into production next week. I hope to have these ready to ship in about 2 months or less. Need to start working on designing packing and such.

So we got to thinking here and there are tons and tons of options for aftermarket metal shift knobs. All round in one way or another and all made from some type of metal. There are for sure some cool ones and even a few that stand out. But none the less not really designed for the Civic X or the ergonomics of a comfortable grip. That being said we thought hey we could REDEFINE a shift knob too. Nothing crazy but something with feel, comfort, and aesthetics at the forefront. To that degree, this is what we came up with.

A Knob that is designed for you. Check it out, drop a comment, give me a call, and let us know what you want to see.

Nice, very interested in this. All black or red stitching would be good. I don't have issues if it has the gear pattern at the top or not.

Will this interfere with the shift boot? Will it require any adapters to connect? Also, how much taller is it compared with the Sport hatchback's current knob?

I like the material and shape. Red stiching would rock. Can it be counter sunk to sit lower?

Given the mold probably not, but will see as we progress.

I just got this knob in the mail. Initial thoughts are that it's aesthetically nice, but too tall. When installed, I find my knuckles bumping into the console, and the throws are noticeably longer. Not sure if this is a keeper...

How are your knuckles bumping into the console? Are you a professional arm wrestler or something? If I held the knob on the top instead of the side I still have plenty space. The picture shows it in third gear with me holding it exaggeratedly so I am as close to the console as I can get. I hold mine on the side because that just naturally feels right. Even when I am throwing the gears like I stole it. Idk how you are having that problem but I hate it for ya. This knob fells perfect to me. I will admit that I thought it was a bit tall at first but it grew on me real quick. Never had a clearance issue though.
*Edit* Please excuse my ashy ass knuckles. It is a dry winter here in NC

Unrelated, but check out NCxGenz if you'd like to join a 10th gen community in NC. I'm personally in Raleigh as well, but we are spread throughout the state. We're on instagram as @ncxgenz and on facebook as a private group. Also, where/how did you get your Type R clutch retrofit done? Thanks!
