2017 coupe coupe net install?

I'm trying to install the cargo net myself. The bottom two screws go in fine. Any suggestions on doing the top two holes? I did the bottom two without drilling. I'd love to do the top as well without drilling.

When I installed mine, it was clear that drilling the top holes was required as there is no way to get the rivit behind the sheet metal.

Buy the correct sized drill bit and make the holes. You can make a tool to properly expand the rivits for about $3. It takes few bolts, nuts and washes from the hardware store.

Check YouTube for the install videos others have done. It worked out good.

That's what I was really hoping to avoid. Ok. The only problem is that i rigged something to get a nut begins the existing hole and it's stuck there spinning with the shaft on it. Any ideas on getting it out? Offset pliers or something?

Ok well I was only able to get the nut out by manhandle it out. Now the hole is wider and I'm a little concerned I Wright be able to get the rivet to flatten enough. Ideas?

For the 2019 model, they offer a no rivet/ no drill snap in option.
