You're right in the sense that adding a turbo to this car just doesnt make any sense since there's no support for it from the aftermarket. You would end up spending more money for not amazing gains when you could just get a new car altogether. It’s not even fast lol. This is facts. Car makes 128whp and 105wtq stock. Adding a turbo kit and not using a tuner since Ktuner and Hondata don’t support turbo for these cars would yield maybe under 200whp if that with improper tuning
And yeah from the factory it doesnt make a lot of power, but with the tune the car does become decent for what it is and still manages to put a smile on my face even when I have a 540 horsepower car sitting in my garage. Not fast by any means, but not boring, if I wanted fast i wouldnt have bought a base engine Civic lol.
And also, what do you expect from a 2.0 na that Honda purposefully neutered so it would be a base engine that wouldn't overshadow the turbo engine? From my time on this forum, i've seen nothing but hate for people who want to mess with their 2.0 cars, which is hilarious since all Civics were n/a till this generation. They're good cars in their own right and theres nothing wrong with people being interested in it, grow up. And btw, I could say that the Si is "slow" compared to many cars out there you're not exactly driving a rocketship. Its all subjective, I bet muscle car owners think the same thing of your Si when they see it on the street lol.
