Alright...after spending 2 hours messing with this...here is a decent look at how to go about it.
Info is rather slim...so here goes:
#1. Cuss for about 15 minutes....once that's out of the way your ready to start this.
#2. Start by opening the passenger rear door and removing the floor plate by the sill. Be easy and pull straight up. Pop the clips but be gentle.
#3. Now lay down the rear seats, remove the door rubber seal by seatbelts tensioner all the way to the floor, and pull the seatbelts panel toward the other passenger seat. It will break loose but again be gentle.
#4. Now pull the panel with the small speaker...be easy again. It doesnt have to come off...just needs to be loose.
#5. Now open the hatch. Climb in and pop the dome light cover off and remove the 2 screws and let it hang.
#6. Pull the 2 tabs holding the headliner up in the rear. Be careful. I broke one. Wiggle them out.
#7. Pull the rubber seal all the way around the top half of the hatchback.
#8. Pull the c-pillar back. Be easy as you can break the plugs...I broke one.
#9. Now you can gently pull down on the headliner about 6 inches. Reach up in there with a 17mm ratchet and back the nut off the fin.
#10. Now look behind the speaker for a small clipped wire (in my pic it is already removed). It is behind the belt tensioner. You will pull this toward the driver side. It is just to the left of the speaker in the background in one pic with speaker back visible. Easiest to reach from back. Be mindful of the airbag as well behind the speaker.
#11. Behind the C Pillar, remove the other wire that is clipped in to a small plug (in my pic it is already pulled. It is the left clip...toward front of car. It is a pinch and pull). It can be seen in the picture of the c pillar pulled back.
#12. Now depending on how it is done, the sharkfin wire may be taped to the wall and again up in the headliner. Mine was taped in multiple spots. Use a razor blade to cut it (be careful here) or pull carefully until it breaks free.
#13. Congratulations! Now you can feed it out through the roof. Reinstalling should be much easier.
#14. Pay attention to the nut for the sharkfin. It has a small protrusion that fits into the notched opening on the sharkfin. Make sure to not over tighten either.
#15. Go have a beer or 2.
