for those sequence exhaust owners are you guys using a 3in front pipe and does it bottle neck at the exhaust connection or is the exhaust connection a 3 in?

@boosted180sx is there a torque spec to use on the clamps?

Bet everyone will be super surprised I didn't get a chance to install mine this past year. Hopefully will be able to in the spring. For now the muffler is still an art piece in my apartment lol

still running a factory front pipe. Been meaning to get one but other parts have taken priority and i'm still hoping for boostlogic or Joe to make a Ti front pipe.
The pipe does taper to match the front pipe unfortunately. You can kinda see it here

I think his original plan was to release a titanium front pipe and make a matching pipe to make it a 3" but maybe he got too busy and had to put the project on hold or there just wasn't enough interest in the exhaust for this market.
Probably the later.

i don't think so. You can only tighten the clamps so much. I just did it hand tight till it felt good and left it. Checked it when i had it up during my alignment and was fine.

i'm surprised you don't have it on lol. Your missing out on such a great exhaust! I'm still enjoying mine very much.

I did previously inquire from Joe about that front piece. He mentioned there was going to be an update on revision 2 on the second batch to not have that area that tapers in. Told him I would purchase that single piece from him if possible when it is done. That was back in April though and at that time said was backed up with new items coming out. Will send him a follow up now.

It has been killing me that it isn't on along with my RV6 front pipe. But the car is tucked in for the winter in storage so has to wait some more. Guess reason above is why I have also put it off.

that's good to know. Let me know what he says. I have a feeling he is putting the FK8 market on hold cause there's just not much demand as not many people are willing to drop so much money on an exhaust.

I'm still waiting and hopeful that someone makes a Ti front pipe. When that happens it would be nice to have a different front section. He has no choice but to add that there for people using stock front pipe unfortunately. Companies like boost logic, has a different front section too for people using a 3" Front pipe. Greddy makes a separate front section too for people using an aftermarket front pipe.

good to know about joe's non-tapered connection. i'd buy it to run to my prl fp. it's already ceramic coated so i'll keep it :D
regarding the exhaust clamps, hand tight is good. i check them periodically rotating wheels after every autox event and i've had no issues.

We should at least start a list of buyers who are interested in the new 3in pipe that connects to the 3inch front pipe. If we get enough interest we can contact Joe and hopefully he can make some time and make them for us.

My exhaust doesn’t taper down like that but I think mine might be one off cause I have his prototype frontpipe/downpipe combo attached. I bet if u ask he can make you a true 3” end for those with a 3” front pipe

yeah i remember him talking about the front pipe and the matching front section of the exhaust to go with it.

really wish he'd make a Ti Front pipe. Knowing my luck, once i buy a PRL or something, it'll come out lol.

I’d support the cause with an order.
