When time permits, can you please pm me how you got them and who you went through? Kinda liking their interior bits and may follow your lead on those vents. They are great looking.

I like living on the edge, heh.
SECURITY!

Are you getting within a CTRs length o Tim?

Although you’re certainly welcome to do whatever works for you, remember who Tim’s bestest buddy, driver is in the other shifter CTR.

Ouch! These carbon fiber boxers aren’t as comfy as the literature promised, anyone have some Gold Bond handy?

Anyone have some rimmed wheel black paint handy? Construction and pothole bit one. Can I mail bill the replacement wheel to the Florida Department of Transportation? Idiots don’t care about us ground hugging speed limit obeying performance car drivers.... shame on them?

TPMS sure picked a good time to notice tires where low, scary when you rub one in a hole and soon after get warned. Stock Contis on it have 35 psi front, 33 rear per drivers door sill decal. All four of mine in the 60 days of ownership (assuming they were right at delivery Oct 1st in Atlanta) were each now 28-29 psi. No cold snap yet here, moves in tonight and can’t blame it on altitude as 315 ft in ATL, about 15 ft here.

Yes but I'm not expecting this to last longer than a year max.
This mod looks great, but why do you think it won't last long? Does it feel flimsy? I'd like to overlay this on the OEM red stripe but don't really want to do it if it peels off within a year like you're thinking.

Just curious why you think it won't last long

I mean it's just a vinyl tape I've never used. I'm just being realistic on my expectations. It may not have any problem.

The other way to look at it is that going back to stock is simpler/cheaper if you just cover up the original stripe. As long as it's cleaned well, it shouldn't cause a problem.
If you remove the OEM tape and later decide to go back to it, Honda will gladly take your money.
Well, I'm not an expert but the OEM red stripe is also of vinyl, no? It does not look very sophisticated to me.
So I think the only difference between the OEM stripe and your stripe is the added reflectiveness. Therefor my guess is that, in case I would not like the reflective pinstripe, I simply remove it and put on non-reflective red pinstripe instead, just like the OEM stripe.

No need for Honda to charge me for that! ;-)

Yeah, I guess my previous post assumes everyone cares about getting the exact red color if they want to go back to OEM. If not, then there are cheaper pin stripe tapes. Still cheaper to just leave the OEM on there though and it does no harm.

Got these installed today. Still working them in, but impressions are positive. The pedal feel and initial bite is very similar to the stock pads, so I'm impressed and happy with that. I don't plan on doing any sort of track work, so these may be perfect for my DD applications :)

FYI if you get the 1/4in size tape, you can apply it on top of the OEM red one since it's slightly wider. I've had no problems removing the aftermarket tape without damaging the OEM tape underneath it after having it on for almost a year.

Nice, I ordered some black 1/4" tape to test out if I liked the look without the red striping. Should be here this week and I'll hopefully get time this weekend to try it out.

Is that front or rear pads (or both)?

Today I installed a spare tire and kit. First impressions, it's a nice kit. Couple of things that you should know. The new cargo floor is at a different angle by the rear seat. I knew this up front. The Type R cargo tray doesn't fit perfectly but it don't look like Fido's ass either. My Weathertech cargo tray from my '19 Sport Touring fits perfectly. Don't look bad enough to spend the money in my opinion. Next was the styrofoam tool holder. The cut out for the tow bolt was too short. Problem was easily fixed with a straight edge and utility knife. Definitely feel better knowing that I have a spare tire now.

Thank you for sharing that Chris. That spare tire kit looks great. Will definitely have to consider getting one also. Recently drove to Las Vegas and back and had to throw a full size used dirty OEM wheel in the hatch for peace of mind, lol.
