Done planning and got a more efficient used car over last weekend. Something practical/cheap that I can wring it out on public streets. It's zippy after changing out to +1 Indy 500 tires and dropping in an K&N filter. But insurance costs twice as much as a Civic! Can't win 'em all.

Still heavily debating whether to put up the CTR and or MX-5 for sale or keep as garage queen; every time I take her out I fear of door dings and road rash, not fun having to constantly worry about a car (less so with the MX-5 but not as practical). I want a car I can beat (worry-free with the Fit). YMMV. Wife also has a regular 1.5T Civic for daily commute.

You DID get a Fit! Once you said the horsepower specs I knew it was one of two...

After having two accidents it kind of makes me not as paranoid about it anymore. Still, I'm waiting for some ass to dent my door or whatnot, but trying to keep it all perfect is... well, it ain't perfect, but that don't take away from driving it :)

It's hard to imagine my next vehicle, because willingly parting with this car is difficult right now. I will say the Kona EV has piqued my interest to get in on the electric revolution... but seeing as how I have no charging equipment I'm in no rush. TLX Type S looks cool too but I doubt i can afford that.

The Type S will be sweet and costly. The instant torque on EVs are addictive and very fun and useful when passing in traffic (like going to warp speed on demand, instantly reach one/two car length ahead of the car you're trying to pass). I think Hyundai and Kia are keeping Honda and Toyota honest, better for us consumers; the GT, Veloster N, Kona EV, Ionic EV, Niro EV are competitive products that help keep the other two manufacturers up the games. I've no concerns with their reliability at this point.

Hopefully in a few years I can add a ND Miata RF with the Club pack that gives you Brembos, LSD, and some chassis bracing! I just got out of a 6 speed GT soft top, and loved it! The few minor things's I'd change the RF would take care of :)

Very simple answer on this one. New/slightly used TL type S IF I can’t find used V60 polestar engineered when the time comes. US is finally getting performance wagons and I’m sure they will be pulled out of this market within a few years and then drought for another 2 decades, so it’s now or never on them 400hp+ wagons.

Si would not go into retirement though... not until my wife buys me a Porsche.

I’ll probably fall back into buying a model or two back used cars. Right now? I’m leaning towards one the last of the CTS VSports. I’d like to get back into a used premium car again. The Civic has been fun and all, but after jumping from a ‘15 Si to a ‘18 Si, I’ll be Honda’ed out and ready for something different. The Odyssey will get a timing belt in ~2 more years and we’ll probably let it go once the kids are all out of elementary school... and that’s in a good 6 more years and will make it right at 10 years old. I’m sort of interested what we’ll get as our largest vehicle at that point. The Navy gig should be wrapped up and I guess a lot will depend on what I’m doing for work afterwards. I doubt I’ll get any more new cars though for myself. I’m always let down for what I get for the money... but that’s the way the new car game goes.

EDIT: Sorry, wrong thread :p

not sure, since I'm here already... a Tesla would be a fun car to own :) I really love my Si tho. It's my first Honda after a gauntlet of Toyotas, Mitsubishis, and Nissans.

The '19 Club or GTS Touring is Miata perfected with the increased HP. Yeah, let someone else do the depreciation and pick one up in a few years; they depreciate like a bandit. But super reliable and fun, fun, fun, to drive!

Charger hellcat, always wanted one, I used to worked at dodge. It would be my weekend car since it’d be at the shop always getting fixed during the week. My Si can be for the daily commute still. Win win.
