So I've only done oil changes since I go this brand new off the lot. I live in nyc and this car was used as an uber vehicle 10-14hrs a day. Now it's retiring to a life of a grocery runner.

Point is, I plan to get all service and maintenance upto date but I'm not sure where to start so any advice/guidance would be great.

Also if anyone is interested ask me anything about what's broken/breaking I'd be happy to give video/pictures of my work horse.

Things replaced
-front rotors and pads
-oil change done ever 10k miles or the oil is black
-1 full set of tires
-interior carpet
-trunk carpet
- 3 undercarriage skid plates/engine covers because oil change shops have functional nitwits working there

Your other fluids should be replaced. Transmission, brake, coolant.
Things like the waterpump, rad cap and related parts should also be replaced.

I am surprised that your aircon still works.

I would imagine its a CVT, I would really consider changed that fluid in addition to coolant.

I too am at 80k and have barely touched a thing besides those necessities you listed. I lost both sides of my undercarriage covers while driving.

I started doing the oil changes myself because replacing those skid plates at the dealer is $300+ depending on how ruined the plastics are

I'm at 28K miles on my 2017 and have not done any of that "Honda Recommended Maintenance" they want you to do at every 5K interval. Just seems like a cash grab to me.

My local mechanic charges a fraction of the price and I trust them a hundred fold more than I would ever trust any stealership.

You're right I plan to have the transmission fluid done at around 30k (which is soon). I guess I will have to go to dealer for that, not sure my local guy can do it but I'll ask him just for hahas.

I just use windshield wash from the hardware store though. I always have.

your priorities should be......

- CVT fluid change
- Coolant change
- Air filter/cabin filter/PCV valve replaced
- check condition of drive belt, replace if nessessary

if you have the extra cash consider a brake fluid change, and spark plug replacement, but i would put these as lower priority then what i listed
If the trans fluid is cooked should I bother with changing it... no dip stick what should I stick in there to get a sample?

I think alot of people were worried about these cars after the redesign especially turbocharged. Can say honestly this car has only had problems with keeping that surprisingly very expensive skid plate from falling off.

I think the recommended is 45 or 40,000miles
