Noticed quicker spool, can't say anymore because it's already cold here and it makes the car feel stronger. I am now in the process of getting the car tuned.
Ive read hondata supposed to release a tune for the PRL HFI, PRL turbo tubes and PRL intake tube

I'm curious, what would such a tune change to accommodate the turbo inlet pipe?

That is an excellent conjuring!
One may assume they are seeing more happy tune room in the numbers in IAT or MAF.
Likely both.

I'll know as soon as I get mine in the UK, as soon as it's fitted, it'll be going to my tuner to find out what she can offer in terms of lowering IAT's and whether this equates to increase in power

^not the best angle but left is stock and right is the prl inlet.

i think the silicone pipe is better made on the inlet pipe kit and gives you better clearance to the hard pipe that i had to bend slightly for the PRL intake.

Currently have PRL intake, PRL inlet pipe, PRL intercooler, and PRL charge pipes :)
Weather is unfortunately pretty bad right now so i haven't done a datalog to see how much effect it has on my tune from Drob.

Nice! Would you mind commenting on any additional turbo lag once you’ve a chance? Thanks!

yeah once this rain clears up, i'm going to be doing a datalog. I doubt it's going to add any additional lag though.

Does this protect from heat better than stock? Looks kinda thin. Also I wish it was all one piece, would look cleaner imo.

doesn't necessary "protect" it from heat but titanium does have a lower thermal conductivity compared to a cast aluminum piece.

The pipe can be thin and still have the same overall strength as other metals because it is titanium.

if you don't mind dropping a $1000 on a pipe, you do have the option of the rampage fab lol. I agree that it would look cleaner as a single piece since there would be no reason for those 2 hose clamps but i wasn't willing to pay basically a 1/3 of what my full Ti Exhaust costed for a piece like that. I also did not like the fact that rampage would not sell you one without their name on the pipe.

I prefer the ease of not having to remove the bolts from the turbo inlet to remove the whole unit if I have to work on a dp, turbo blanket etc.

yeah it definitely would make it easier to do work underneath.

But, sacrifices have to be made to have a cleaner bay :p

Just ordered mine. I'd like to add some color to it, but I haven't previously done any burnt titanium. Is it different temperatures that illicit the different colors?
