Seems pretty common to go and buy an ebay or related grille replacement whit the intent of getting better airflow. With that said I'm surprised there are not more threads on people just cutting holes in the oem grille. This came to mind when i saw Evasive's grille which looks like they did just this. Disclaimer, not trying to knock on anyone's products. I've dealt with evasive before and they're a great company.

Any thoughts?

Mostly replace with aftermarket grill and keep factory grill in case of needing to sell car few months down the road as evidenced by the large amount of used CTRs for sale.

Makes sense. Never a good idea to not have stock parts to go back to.

I planned to cut mine but I have SOOO much air flowing through now that I don't need it. May still do it. I actually have an Ebay grille on the shelf in the garage too.

Watcha mean? got a fan in front? j/k. Sounds like eBay grille is the go to method here but I really hate the thought of removing the bumper on a brand new car.

Yeah I actually already do have a stencil made but I don’t have a steady enough hand to trust myself to do it.

my friend will probably end up doing it for me though.
Keep us posted. Id likely go that route at some point.

Yeah me too but only cause it is laborious.
My hood scoop is now open and the bumper vents are now open and the aluminum belly pan is removed. Lots of air flowing into, through and out, the engine bay.
I opened the rear bumper vents too, not relevant to engine cooling.

That looks quite good, how's that hood scoop deal in the rain? Or is that something you try to avoid?

I had the same thought tinyman392 I try to avoid it myself mostly because I don’t lobe cleaning my car all the time, but pop up showers and storms happen even on days you would never expect
It.

Cutting out the front vents and removing the under tray seem like it would add a lot of drag and lift. The front vents are blocked off from the radiator too.

incan see the radiator with the vent off so it’s not completely blocked.
