does this use stock mounting points?
Wdym stock mounting points? It fits on my 2017 EX-T Sedan pretty flush. The lip has cutouts for the stock push clips/bolts that are on the bumper so you can still access those. The lip itself comes with 6-8 Phillips screws and has precut holes. I used double sided gorilla tape in conjunction to screwing it in place. It holds great.

So mad at myself...

I was backing up in an unfamiliar driveway in a rainstorm. Unfortunately, the backup camera view was obscured by raindrops and was useless. As I inched back I knew I hit something. It was a low-ish concrete barrier. I never saw it. And now my rear bumper is scuffed to hell. I literally just tapped it at 2 mph, but our paint is so thin it gouged it and went down to the primer in a few spots. :(

Ugh sorry, that totally sucks. After having my Si for 5 months I just realized last week (first rain) that the backup cameras on these Civics are useless in the rain.

Sorry to hear that about your car. It sucks when things like that happen.

If you decide to fix it, I recommend not fixing it through insurance, just pay out of pocket (it might cost somewhere around $1K for one bumper by a Honda certified body shop). Your insurance premium will go higher for something as small as this. My father did the same thing to his car and learned it the hard way; his insurance rate went up after filing a fixing it through insurance.

I had to get my windshield replaced today. The previous one developed a large crack that started to get into my line of sight. I’m concerned about the quality of the installation however. It could be that the adhesive is still curing, but I’m hearing a lot of noise that I believe to be the windshield rubbing against the a pillars. The passengers side also has a spot where the glass seems to slightly curve and this does have a small impact on visibility. I’ll most likely end up returning to the shop so they can inspect it and hopefully resolve any issues.

Sorry this happened.
Might as well swap out the diffuser and reroute the exhaust while you’re having it fixed!

Hope that will work out for you, and "stay new" on the windshield (finger crossed), mine replaced windshield got a new rock chip barely after the 1st week of install:(

That was my plan. I just got a quote of $800+ for the fix. For now I think I'm just going to touch up the (many) bare spots and wait til spring to have a pro do it right. Money's tight so I'll just have to grin and bear it for now.o_O

Hey everyone! It's been a while. I've been busy with school and life but have done some stuff somewhat recently:
-Plasti dipped my wheels
-Brayson R Motor Sports front lip
-Painted brake calipers red
-Mugen style window visors
I'm officially at 10K miles after buying it brand new off the lot in June. I've had so much fun and can't wait to continue adding little stuff! Got some side makers ordered and going to try and wrap the roof next. Any advice would be appreciated because I tried to chrome delete the window trims and as you can see I gave up on the back windows LOL
