Yesterday I installed some ECCPP 25mm wheel spacers for the rear wheels on my FK7 Hatchback. I jacked up each side individually. I used blue loctite and torqued the spacers down to 90ft/lbs. Then when I put the left wheel back on and torqued the lugs down to 82ft/lbs and unjacked the car, the top half of the locking lug snapped off. I had to take some pliers to twist the broken back half off but luckily I had some spare lugs put those one. Happened to both rear wheels and I'm not sure why. After swapping the broken locking lugs with the regular spare lugs it seemed to be fine and I drove yesterday just fine. Please let me know if you can think of what went wrong or I did wrong. Thanks!
