Looking for Morimoto XB LED user feedback

Hi all, I may take the plunge on black friday and order a set off TRS (assuming they do a sale).

I have read older threads on them, but I was hoping to hear some newer feedback on how they are working for those who are using them. From what I gather the first batches had adjuster issues which im hoping they fixed by now.

I'm also curious of output and if you are satisfied. Not expecting HID retrofit quality but for the price I'd like better throw and width compared to halogens.

I had a pair from the first batch that had some wiring issues (one headlight's DRL strip would turn off when the headlights were turned on) and never got another pair after getting that refund, BUT I was really pleased with the output. Again, yes, really comparable to HIDs in a retrofit but definitely better than stock halogens and stock LEDs. It was clear, sharp and had decent throw. It could have used a little more width but it was still more than enough. I've been considering buying another pair for Black Friday too.

After 7 months my passenger Signal LED strip has died which sucks, They will replace it under warranty if i send it back or pay a $500 deposit so they can send a new one and will refund the deposit until they recieve the broken one.

The looks are insane the output is wide and decent youll be happy, just not as good as a quality projector retrofit comparing from Mini D2s 5.0 on my truck.

I have the cheaper katana 90$ and those are great so I can only imagine the morimoto are better

Well over a year now, no issues. Output is better than LED drop-in and the shitty blob of light from OEM touring, but not as good as an HID retrofit. Aesthetic, which is what you buy them for, is among the best of any vehicle on the planet bar none.
