CURIOUS because i only see it announced for the Sport Touring. Not htat it bothers me as i dont use the navi often if at all. (google maps/ Android AUTO FTW).

im really considering trading in my 17 ex-l HB in for a sport touring simply because my screen STILL BEEPS and goes to the home screen.

It's not included, but might be available as an option. It requires a built-in GPS receiver so I'm not sure how much it would be to install.

i thought it was weird how it was part of the EX-L in 2017 but not now. Personally i wouldve loved the sensing in my car instead, but oh well. Ill get the 20/21 model sport touring.

For the 2020 Hatchback EX-L Honda decided to remove the navigation portion but they did drop the price for this trim.

Do people still use factory navigation? Thought by now everyone would either be using android auto or apple carplay for that purpose.

The benefit of the factory navigation or a separate GPS unit is not using your cell data, and if you are in certain areas cell coverage isn't as good.

I suppose. Granted I've found data usage from cellular navigation to be negligible for the most part. Reception is a good point. If I ever move to Wyoming or Alaska I'd definitely want satellite navigation.

And you loose all the wire clutter, I've used Garmin nav for at least 10 years, always got me where I was going. Using a 32 GB USB stick and the Garmin program on your computer, updates are pretty simple. My wife has it in her Fit, she gets lost easily, all she has to do is hit "home" and she's good to go. In-dash, on board GPS really rocks for me.

Don't know if that will work with an iPhone, anyway, I have only 2gb of data on my plan. Garmin system, both in-dash and previously, dash-top has always worked for me, I have used Google maps on my iPhone, prefer the Garmin for the traffic warnings, gas stations, etc.
