Looking to buy from Exedy themselves, not 3rd party. I've had poor experiences from 3rd party vendors.
Like I said lol I have the kit from exedy themselves for the Si and your better off with the type R retro where it’ll actually hold power and can be used with single mass flywheel

How can you compare a product to something that nobody has had experience with? Is there someone that has had a stage 1 or 2 Exedy kit installed and provided feedback?

If their stage 1 can do the numbers that are projected, that's more than enough for a good price.

It’s an unsprung 3 puck lol come one man you think I don’t know this? If you want you can buy my stage 2 from them it’ll be cheaper then what they’ll sell you it for. Plus it’s not meant for single mass flywheel since well no one runs unsprung with single mass since theirs no way to dampen the shock and vibration.
Exedy msrp for the stage 2 is $ 609.40

Why did you buy the unsprung if you couldn't? Can't you return it?
The same way I had my kit in their previous car without issues, I'll repeat with this car. Not interested in a version of unknown stage, thanks.

Exedy does not have official capacity numbers with their products. I like to be thorough with product knowledge before purchasing so I don't end up with buyer's remorse or selling.

I didn’t buy it lol. Also exedy like I said will not at all make a sprung option for non type R’s it’s already confirmed

What’s stopping you from getting the FX300 or FX350? They’re great clutches. I had the FX300 for while and it drives amazingly. I had 342tq and not a slip. I ran the hell out of my car.
I have seen more negative about that clutch than positive so I am steering clear of it. It's either great or a nightmare...and I have the luck on the side of nightmare when it comes to these things.

You have to use the single mass flywheel. The dmf sucks with the 300

Can’t use a single mass flywheel with and unsprung disc or puck lol which is what Exedy only made for the Non Type R’s.

So, Anyone tried out either the stage 1 and 2? Im hoping the torque ratings are conservative considering the +9 hondata basemap makes ~272 brake tq and im sure over that is not that hard to acheive with a good tune and related mods... although not the best idea on bone stock internals....

They are conservative and are based of the stock clutch which was reported conservative. Stock clutch holds 250wtq so do the math to stage 1 and 2 which obviously hold more than stock lol

Anyone install either the stage 1 or 2 Exedy clutch yet who can provide feedback? I'm starting to slip on running the 19.5/21.5 Ktuner map w/ only 9K miles and trying to figure out what route I want to go. Was thinking that the Exedy stage 1 would be a good option for a daily driver. Not looking to go for any additional power. Maybe the TSP stage 1 tune at some point, but that's all.
