I got some 42700 TBA A12 (16 x 7) OEM steelie. Would 205/55/16 tire fit these wheels? or should I go for 215 / 55 / 16?

Both tires will fit ..but the real size is 215/55R16...If you go with the 205/55R16 you will be .4" lower but its still ok

15x6.0 or 15x6.5 +40 to +45 offset is fine with 205/65R15

The oem parts number we put is 42700-TR0-J02 (im in Canada..parts could be different for usa)
Oem is 15x6 +45

You would need a 15" hubcap. You can check with the dealer to see what they have. When we got ours they were around $15 each from Honda. That was quite awhile ago though.

Honda Civic 10th gen 15" Steelies upload_2019-11-5_21-38-42

I have decided to get 205/65/R15 winter tires, but I can not find 42700-TR0-J02 wheels for sale at any online site. Is 42700-TR0-A02 suitable for a 10th generation Civic?

Update: Yes, 42700-TR0-A02 wheels work fine with a regular Civic. (These wheels won't fit over the brakes of an SI or a type R.)

I got the 15 inch steelies and studded 205/65/15 tires installed this morning.

What doesn't work: Do not buy the official 15" Honda wheel covers that go with the Honda wheel. They depend on special lug nuts that have a ridge to hold the wheel cover. That's a deal breaker for me, so I ended up with Wal-Mart wheel covers. This wasn't cheap, but I'm all set for ice and snow.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 205/65R15 $520 at tiresbyweb.com
42700-TR0-A02 wheel discs $305.76 with shipping at HondaPartsNow.com
Generic wheel covers for 15" wheels $32.06 at Wal-Mart
Installation and valve stems $108.56 at Vermont Tire in South Burlington, VT
Total: $966.38

By the way, studded tires are really loud, even at 40mph.
Pictures attached. The car needs a little detailing. :rolleyes1:

I found out the hard way about the OEM wheel covers too, bolted one up and was surprised when it pulled right off over the lug nuts
