Never seen so many cars get sold with little to no miles or time owned like the ctr. I find it so odd.
Same!

Just for curiosity, why are you selling it? I traded in my 2019 STI so I understand... but just curious why so many people are selling their Type R's.

Looks like a great deal though... wish I was in a position to buy!

>> The simple answer: I bought it as a wedding gift for my bride and she absolutely hates the color.

either way GLWS
I'm thinking many bought the car during the hype train when it first unveiled 2 years ago. Most of those buyers purchased the car without test driving or anything. Many also purchased just because of the hype, in hopes that the car would appreciate in value. I'm guessing at this 2 year mark, is when a lot of people either finished paying off their car, or realized they can't make those payments anymore. And the fact that the market value is slowly normalizing and coming down, I think a lot of it is buyers remorse.

Anyone who buys a car with the expectation of it substantially appreciating over the span of 2 years is a certified idiot lol.

I ended up buying an Aegean Blue when I thought I wanted a CWhite. In hindsight, I'm happy with what I bought. I love the CTR and came from an E92 M3. It's a car you have to really understand and appreciate in that it's not easy to drive at 10/10's as it will knock off the tires very easily in first and second gears. It takes getting used to and if you want an easy button of hammering the throttle and taking off, it may not be what some may want. For anyone in this camp, my last ride is right up your alley.

Weird, I’d say it’s one of the easiest cars I’ve ever owned to drive fast. Sounds like you’re trying to launch it I’m referring to setting fast lap times.

Not to sound obtuse but when I say 10/10th's, I mean on the ragged edge. I don't even really try to "launch" the Type R as the wheel spin and then spin is prevalent. I leave aggressively but shift into second fairly early but while still in boost. What I am saying is that midapex to corner track out under very hard acceleration the power is not linear as it in my last car. So when it jumps to full boost, you almost have to implement a mild throttle modulation to prevent it from biting you in the ass.
