Easily took out a 350/370Z from a 20mph roll, we stopped at a red light and I got a thumbs up. +6 Hondata.

I was visiting my brother in law in NC in 99 when he worked for Glaxo Smithklein. I came with him to work, and when I entered the building the guard asked me if I had any firearms to surrender. I looked at him confused and my brother in law told him I was visiting from California. The guard gave me a look as if my mother had passed away. Now when I visit our Texas office to prevent that same look I tell everyone I left my firearm(s) in my car under my seat

A tuned Si with no bolt-ons is a mid 14 sec car. Not lightning fast by any means but the chassis and handling compensate for it. Slower than my Mini but seems to handle just as good, if not better, which is awesome considering it's a sedan.
A properly tuned Si ought to be a 13 sec car IMO. My non-Si with a CVT (don't sweat it- she's partially fueled by the hate) runs a fuzzy tenth away from being a 13s car. I mean either the Si is faster or...

Not comparing a non Si to an Si, but manuals don't win races just because they are manuals. People buy them for the driving experience. Putting aside hate for CVT's, they are more efficient at shifting than manuals

All the tuned civics with timeslips have ran mid 14s without bolt-ons. I go based on what people have been running and provide documentation for. I don't like speculation. Your CVT ran a 14.10 with no bolt ons?

My car feels like an automatic when I shift. I shift fast and it’s full throttle shifting too.

You do a lot of driving which has made you better at shifting, and a lot of performance driving at that. I think you mentioned you had around 60k on your old engine, it would take me almost around 4 years to do that many miles

Rev match shifting works well for daily commuting as well, easier on the clutch instead of slamming in gears quickly.

When test driving the Si, salesman asked how long I've been driving manual because he's never seen a manual driven smooth like auto without riding the clutch.

I've only had maybe one or two real decent runs with anyone since I've been tuned. The most official was me against a slightly older Si, where I didn't know if we were going to go or not, we did, and I got out ahead by a few lengths. Another was a mean Cadillac ATS-V (I think) but I was going about 70-80 past him then he decided to get on it and I was well out of my element there. There are a few spots in my neck of the Mexican woods that make for a good run, but I don't find people interested very often.

I raced a stock Genesis 2.0T (exhaust onyl) from a 40 roll and he did not start pulling on me until 5th gear. We ran 4-5 times, all the same results. He has more top-end.

I'm guessing it was a 09-12 ? The make similar numbers. The 13-14 make 60+ more HP on the 2.0t IIRC.

I was going to say that. The years you mentioned make about 207hp
