I put the blame on the consumer more than the dealer. There have been people on here that stated the car is worth the mark up or they had to pay the mark up like someone held a gun to their head rather than stay patient. That type of attitude is the reason why the markups exist. Less people are willing to pay the markup now and you're seeing dealers having to adjust and sell the car at MSRP in order to move inventory. This isn't the limited production car that everyone thought it would be initially so it doesn't make sense to still pay a mark up.Well maybe if they would punish dealers for the markups then these cars would move faster.
