Sold: FS: HKS Hi Power Exhuast for Si Coupe $550

Do you have a down pipe and front pipe installed too? I’m curious because I’m going to my pipes installed soon on my HKS Hi-Power.

My car is stock aside from intake tube and dryflow filter (and pedal relocation and Hybrid short shifter). Vader_si was saying the DP/FP made the drone much more noticeable, but outside of the droning it sounded awesome. If this were a car I drove for fun I wouldn't be bothered by the drone at all, but the 6AM commutes trying to get decent MPG (staying almost exclusively in the 2250-2750RPM range where it drones) it got to be a little much and I took it off. I think a beefier resonator would fix it, but I'm not sure I want to go through the trouble. I know someone out there would have a blast with this exhaust as it is...

Is there any drone?
(Nevermind ... you answered my question in the time that I was typing and looking into the manufacturers website)

At highway speeds, there is no drone. Getting up to highway speeds you get really nice pops between shifts and no drone. It's when you leave it in gear in stop and go traffic, only when you lift off the gas around 2500rpm. Then it drones, but just a little. Unfortunately, that's 90% of my driving. If you are in college and drive around to class and stuff, it sounds awesome. If you get stuck in rush hour traffic every single day, maybe go a different route. I'm convinced it can be fixed, but I don't want to go through the hassle. At this price you can still get a muffler shop to fix it up and still be saving money over a new one. Or if you aren't lifting off at 2500rpm all the time, just leave it as-is and enjoy the sounds.
