I have my deposit in and finally the dealer calls late on afternoon and says it’s arrived an they will have it ready tomorrow at noon.
During dinner that evening I inform my wife that “I need a new car so I’m going to our Honda dealer and pick up a little Civic”. She has a one year old HRV and has always had Honda’s. She says that’s a good idea.
The next day I pick up the car and put it in the garage. Wife is in the house so I waltz in and tell her to come out with me and check out the Civic.
Well she takes one look at it and says WTF is THAT? “It’s a Civic”, I say while pointing at the CIVIC emblem.
Amazingly enough her next response is, “We are going to have soooooo much fun in this”. She giggled like a little girl on her first ride.
I’m keeping her, we will have our 40th Anniversary this January.

I have had a couple of younger kids take pictures with it while it's parked. People giving me the thumbs up and all the good stuff.
Recently though, on the way to the mall some guy in a subie is tailgating me like crazy then pulls up next to me, next thing you know he is making Sausage sucking gestures towards me and my gf. It was the most random thing in the world. Gf and i couldnt help but start laughing like crazy because honestly who does that... I wish my gf would have recorded it but then again, neither of us were expecting him to do that, lol.

I have to admit... my CTR gets pretty much zero attention, from anyone. There was a few people in the past that did stupid things around me, but over the last 5 months it's been pretty silent across the board. No one taking pics of the car. No one coming up to it. No one trying to race me in traffic. No one being a tool around me in traffic. Nothing. It's as if I was driving a beige Camry... no one pays attention... and I kind of like it
