Both tires will fit ..but the real size is 215/55R16...If you go with the 205/55R16 you will be .4" lower but its still okI got some 42700 TBA A12 (16 x 7) OEM steelie. Would 205/55/16 tire fit these wheels? or should I go for 215 / 55 / 16?
No..0.4" lower would make mess up the speedometer wouldn't it?

Hi my dealer opted me for 15 inch rim and 205/65R15 Bridgestone Blizzak winter tire. Do u know the stock 16 inch Hubcap will fit on the new 15 inch RIM? or I have to buy 4 hubcaps for 15 inch RIM..? how much those will cost an where I Can get those.. I am from Ottawa, Canada ... thanks in advance...We have some 15" steelies from our previous Civic and they fit.
15x6.0 or 15x6.5 +40 to +45 offset is fine with 205/65R15

You would need a 15" hubcap. You can check with the dealer to see what they have. When we got ours they were around $15 each from Honda. Update: Yes, 42700-TR0-A02 wheels work fine with a regular Civic. (These wheels won't fit over the brakes of an SI or a type R.)Is 42700-TR0-A02 suitable for a 10th generation Civic?
