Dear Civicx members
I looking to replace my tires. After looking for a long time I understood that in my country I cant get PS4S or Asymmetric 5. So I left with these 3 tires:
GoodYear Eagle F1 Asy 3
Michelin Pilot Sport 4
Michelin Pilot Sport
The difference in price is big (Almost 70 bucks per piece for Michelin no matter witch model) so I need to understand if going Michelin worth the extra money.

Size: 235/40/18 (the only legal 18 in my place)
Wheels: will be aftermarket wheels 18 inch
Suspension: stock
Main goal that I want to get after replacement: more stability on the road without sacrifice too much comfort (Strict performance tires like Cup2 are no go).

So what you think? What tire is the best?

Looking forward for your replies

Out of the three, I think the best dry and wet performance will be the Pilot Sport 4 -- it is even better than the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5.

I am not sure how the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 compares to the Pilot Sport 2, though.
If the Pilot Sport 2 is priced similar to the Pilot Sport 4, I would definitely get the 4 over the 2.

make sure you get the PS4S
Not available in my area at all unfortunately.

Michelin PS4S is not available in his area, hence the next best one in his list would be the PS4.

To the OP, is the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ (yes, all-season) available in your area as well?
It would be a good second (or third) option as well.
Unfortunately this tire not available too.

I found Asym 5 and its price still lower than PS4. The question is, without looking only numbers at this website - does the difference in price worth it for my goals:
Asymm 3 - normal price (in my area 1 tire cost 170$
Asymm 5 + 30$ (from normal price)
PS3 XL +50$ (from normal price)
PS4 +60$ (from normal price)
PS2 +70$ (from normal price)
(Dont try to understand why its so expensive or why PS2 is more expensive than PS4 - I never managed to do it too)

So basically, for tire that only a little better in overall I will pay almost 240$ more for a set of 4. Does it worth it?

You definitely pay a higher premium with Michelin tires...it is the same here in the US / Canada.
I would say go for the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5.

I don't recall Michelin having a Pilot Sport 3 XL in the tire line-up.
It is something else...like a Latitude 3 XL, or Primacy 3 XL?
