Snow is the white cold stuff that falls from the sky during winter months. You can see some on YouTube :)
He's in California, that white stuff falling in winter is ash.

I used the stock tires on my Si for a little while last winter. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone at all but the winters here get pretty brutal. I kinda enjoyed the slipping from time to time because Tokyo Drift by the Teriyaki Boyz would start playing in my head, but I did miss quite a few days of work from being unable to drive my car down the street.

I am going on my 3rd winter with the factory all seasons. First winter was alright. Had a couple of scares. 2nd winter was manageable, but definitely was going slower with less control. This year, I have picked up a set of Kosei 17x7 wheels for cheap. Going to buy 215/50/17 snow tires next week. My Neon I had snow tires every year and loved it. Since then I have been dreading not having them.

Im pretty sure they didn’t test the Goodyear’s on an Si. Maybe a higher sidewall makes a difference? If the roads are damp in cold weather, I spin in 4th trying to pass slower carz. Spooky the first time it happened...even on map 1 TSP tune...
Most likely because of the tune, I'm dead stock and couldn't spin the wheels in 4th if I tried

They really aren't that bad, this is my second winter with them and already had some snow and ice. Could be better, could be worse, just drive carefully and be safe. If you live somewhere that gets LOTS of snow then you may be better served with a true snow tire. That said, when mine do finally wear out, I'll be replacing them with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s like I had on my previous car.

Some people here I get the feeling just don't know how to drive in the wet and slick and would be spinning the hell out of any tire they have.

Never had any snow to try the stock Goodyear All Seasons on, but they were just okay overall.
The Michelin Pilot 4S meanwhile are an enormous improvement, on dry, and even on very rainy
and slick roads, they just never lost grip. Worth every dollar.
