Will this be plug and play?

I’m a complete noob with radios but after looking into getting one installed from Best Buy because they offer it free when buying a radio. It seems all they said I needed was

Issue is the dash kit is out of stock.

So I found this one that comes with all that Best Buy is saying that is needed.

my question is this. What would this kit work with? I know a double din but will it be just plug and play with any double din? Or will I have to cut wires and stuff regardless ?

Should work. From what that description says it's all metra stuff so it's all the parts you listed as a combo pack. You won't have to cut wires in the car but you will have to cut and connect the ones to the radio.

The radio will have a harness with individual wires on one end. Same for the Metra. You have to connect the individual wires between the two. Not sure if that kit has the steering wheel controls thingy. I didn't care about that with mine, though. But factor that in if you're comparing one against the other.

Most radio's would need an external loom to fit your vehicle and not all looms would come would steering wheel controls. I bought a tuning chip from https://www.unichipeurope.com/ a while back, and even though its unrelated , the staff seemed to know a lot about electronics. I'm useless with stereo's but they told me exactly which looms and which stalks are needed, and the process of fitting.
