Does anyone have experience with the red CTR/HFP mats? I'm wondering how they hold up to normal use. Don't want to pay $100 if they're as weak as the stock ones on my Si :(
I put in a set of HFP floor mats in March 2018 and they seem to have held up pretty well. The driver's mat underneath the pedals shows more dirt than the stock black mats, but it's a small difference and doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Thanks, good to know! Here in SoCal it's always dry so that helps too, but there's so much fuzz coming off my stock ones right now and they only have 1100 miles :(

Yup I just noticed yesterday when I was getting in my car. My car is at 28k and there is a pile of fuzz and a hole starting on my driver floor mat. It looks like whatever glue they used on those floor mats is really weak. I have had many vehicles and have never seen a floor mat look like that so fast. I had a Isuzu Rodeo that had over 200k that still had original floor mats that looked better than these! I’m about to order some new mats. What recommendations are there?

Sorry if someone posted its early in the morning for me so didn't read through all the pages but I got these
oEdRo Floor Mats Compatible for 2016-2019 Honda Civic Sedan/Civic Hatchback/Civic Type R, Unique Black TPE All-Weather Guard Includes 1st and 2nd Row: Front, Rear, Full Set Liners https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KYNJN5L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zuerDbKABHAWM

Cheap and high wall. Also fits like a glove and I like how the rear passenger mat is one solid piece.

Edit: Of course check for specific car model
I just ordered these mats for mine. They look really nice. I was actually able to go to the OEDRO website and buy them direct for only 99 bucks plus free shipping! They got some discount going on. That’s a pretty good deal

My own driver floormat lasted 40,000 miles until there was a huge gaping hole in the mat AND underneath the mat there's also a hole that formed on what looks like the floor... Unbelievable.

Oh dude nice. I usually buy everything from Amazon so bad habit on my part for never checking the actual makers website for discounts lol. Also, the drivers side highwall started to ever so slightly create a small gap between what's below and the mat so there might be some tiny dirt that gets in there but should be okay with regular cleaning. I drive stick so I think that might attribute to it cause they were perfect beforehand and I've had to for about 6 months now. Jfyi!

Mine is a stick to, so I’ll keep a look at for that. Thanks for the info

I'm at 52k and 3.5+ years of ownership. There's a *small* amount of wear, but not enough for me to replace. Are people digging their heels into the carpet unconsciously? Not judging - just curious, but I've noticed lots of OEM floor mats are thin/cheap. Not just Honda's.

I actually managed to wear a hole through the OEM all-weather mat in about a year. So those wont really help, just look better till they wear thin.

I have a 25 year old Nissan with better condition mats with twice as many miles..

I think the main contributor is the type of shoes you're wearing. The ones I wear the most have a pretty sharp edge from the bottom to the side of the sole so they dig into the floor mat harsher than a more rounded sole would. I think the OEM mats would be fine if we all drove barefoot haha (not saying you do!)

This is what my driver's side floor mat looks like today at 45,400 miles on my '17 LX. The hole started quite a while ago, like yours, probably around 25K. Why Honda would use such flimsy floor mats makes no sense. Plus the carpeting behind the pedals has worn through and the stuffing is falling out. This is beyond belief. Honda makes such high-quality drive trains and my car is tight as a drum. Why cheap out on something that should last many more years? Anyway, I put some heavy black tape on both sides of the hole and will see if that holds up. BTW, I don't want to buy a set, either 4-piece or 2-piece, as the other mats are fine. If I can get over to a junk yard, maybe I can find a wrecked 10th-gen Civic and pull the mat.

Floor mats are a wear item designed to protect the carpeting. The hole in the carpeting is YOUR fault for neglecting to maintain the floor mats by replacing them. At least Honda gives you floor mats - they used to be optional! This is like blaming Honda for using poor quality rotors because they were damaged by failure to replace the brake pads. :)
