I have the spoiler on my 19' coupe, as well as on my 16' coupe and love it. Yes, the sloped profile of the coupe is very pretty, similar to an Audi TT in shape, but i like the way the spoiler finishes the rear end (i'd have loved a retractable spoiler like the TT has), and the coupe spoiler IMO is a lot better looking than the optional spoiler on the sedan, which isn't wide enough for the trunk or the roof spoiler on the HB that looks like rabbit ears.I’m still debating on getting that spoiler this is the only car I had in a while that didn’t have one
Ha good one I guess it’s easier to seal two doors than four doors for a submarineCause you don't see James Bond riding around in a sedan.
Agree that the spoiler for the coupe is good looking but almost every car I had either it had a spoiler or I put one on it accept my 63 rambler, f100 truck and 03 Jetta. I put a tacky aftermarket duck tail spoiler on my 1980 mustang notch back but that was in 86 and I was a stupid 18 year old kid after that it was a factory spoiler or the car came with one. The other day I did see a white coupe with the spoiler it looked good but I m still in the air with the ideaI have the spoiler on my 19' coupe, as well as on my 16' coupe and love it. Either option looks good, it's all personal taste. I hated that Honda neglected making a spoiler for the 8th and 9th gen coupes (other than the Si models) so when I saw the first shots of the revealed 10th gen coupe with the spoiler I had to have it. My first car, my 95 civic sedan had a spoiler that i installed myself (it was a factory look recreation). But none of my civics after that had spoilers (except for the tiny little deck lid "spoiler" the 8th gen coupes had). But i really like the spoilers i had/have on my 10th gens, but the back end of the coupe looks good with/without regardless. The other day I did see a white coupe with the spoiler it looked good but I m still in the air with the idea
i dont think ive ever seen any other model civic besides the si and type r have a spoilerEither option looks good, it's all personal taste. All of my cars were coupes accept one a 03 Jetta that I got from my sister in law (needed a car because some idiot ran into the rear of my 04 Tiburon GT with his SUV and totaled it ) the only time I opened the rear doors is when I was cleaning it I’ll agree a coupe is more suited for a single person or second car and a car enthusiast but this is coming from a 51 year old single male with no kids and hardly no friendsI bought the coupe because when I was shopping around, i came to realize that I could count on one hand the number of times I had more than one person in the car with me in my past vehicle...
....I need more friends I guess.
