Total tuned time: >2.5 yrs

Total tuned mileage: ~57k miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner

Tunes used: Stg2, vittune (pump and E), my dual calibration for a LOOONG time(around 19/23 before ethanol boost add table). Highest I ever spiked as far as I know was about 27psi on stock turbo.

Fuel used: any pump from 87-92, up to E70 once. Usually just run 92 from the cheapest place though.

Additional engine mods: DIY CAI w/3.25 MAF housing, RV6 DP, Pure450 (turbo only ~5k miles ago)

Problems/issues: Nothing too serious but once the car just died while driving. Everything worked/lit up still but start button wouldn't cause starter to spin/engage and a reflash from V2 didn't fix it. Car won't run with stock flash due to huge intake so luckily I had the laptop to reload tune to V2 then flash and was back in business.

Driving style: WOT constantly, no lift shifts everywhere, pass everybody, etc... Only thing I don't do too often are clutch dumps in 1st. Cars been down the 1/4 mile maybe 25/30 times or so is all.

Yes I know I should really dial in the tune for the pure and crank it up some more but I've been so busy I'm still running the very first calibration I created for it and the car runs good and is pretty quick so I haven't had the motivation to sit down and try harder yet.

Tunes used: KTuner Base Map 21psi / TSP Stage 1 (current)

Fuel used: 91 Octane (California)

Additional engine mods: No engine/exhaust mods

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Full Retard

Tuning experience notes: It's my first turbo car and I was super happy with the base map. But the TSP Stage 1 takes it to another level and I highly recommend it. My clutch is fine but I rarely try to do a burnout or launch the car in 1st gear. Maybe 1 or 2 times a month Ill launch the car. However, I do full 2nd and 3rd gear pulls almost daily.

Tuning experience notes: No issues at all. I don't beat on my car but I am not easy on it either. The tuning has made the car very fun to drive. Going to add the Sirimoto Flex Fuel kit and the PRL CVT cooler and use the Powermetric stage 2 tune.

Total tuned time: less than a week

Total tuned mileage: less than 100 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner v2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1 (currently using map 3)

Fuel used: 91 and 93 depending on the location. (mostly 91).

Additional engine mods: K&N Filter if that matters.

Problems/issues: None!

Driving style: Above speed limit usually hitting 40+ mpg while my tank hitting +400 mile range. Just short burst of aggressiveness. For this week, I will be pushing my car due to testing of the new tune.

NewVehicle: 2018 Civic Si Sedan

Total tuned time: 15 months

Total tuned mileage: 80,000KMS 88k on the car total.

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner TSP1. Usually on mode 2, sometimes 3.

Tunes used: TSP1

Fuel used: 91 almost all the time, 93 with a little ethanol on track days

Additional engine mods: clutchmasters ct300, stock dmf. cdv delete. PRL Intake hose and dropin filter. weeeeeee

Problems/issues: Stuck injector fixed by honda under warranty. I messed up one front strut on the track, i paid for that. stock clutch lasted 20k, now ct300 is solid.

Driving style: I drive it hard. i am on traction control regularly in 2nd and 3rd. 1 or 2 wot per week. and then theres the track days..:drive: anyone who says these things are weak is just wrong. recent compression test was perfect. uses no oil.

I don't know if this is anything to be concerned over. But there seems to be a slight uptick in injector failures with tuned cars. Not sure if it's just coincidence?

Vehicle: 2018 Civic sport touring hatch

Total tuned time: 12 months

Total tuned mileage: 15,000+ miles (I drive too much)

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1

Tunes used: KTuner 21, but run at 16.5 for commuting

Fuel used: Shell 93, ever since tune, 87 before that

Additional engine mods: 27won CAI

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Slightly speedy with aggressive bursts from time to time.

Tuning experience notes: This is my first time tuning. The main reason I tuned was to reduce the feeling of turbo and CVT lag when quickly going from light to heavy throttle. Tuning's definitely reduced the lag by maybe 90% and gives me a completely different driving experience. Even took it to the track once. First pull was sub 15. Think I really needed to disable Vsa, since my first 60 ft was horrible. Highly recommend!

Total tuned time: 24+ months

Total tuned mileage: 30,000+ miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner 1.2

Tunes used: professional tuning by churches auto, Daniel butler

Fuel used: chevron 91 + e85 = e40 blend

Additional engine mods: PRL CAI Race MAF, catless downpipe, front pipe, ethanol sensor, fx300 clutch.

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Slightly speedy with aggressive bursts from time to time.

Tuning experience notes: 275 hp / 350tq. Torque peak is a bit low on the rpm range and engine runs out of power around 5500 rpm. Probably due to small turbo but still plenty of fun for a commuter. I still get 40+ mpg hwy on premium gas, non-blend. With e40 mix I average about 25mpg city/hwy. I've pretty much been running e40 for the last 30k miles.
