I hope you destroy them on your customer survey.

Front, rear, and side splitters, side window deflectors, spoiler, and interior lighting kit. They were included, yes. I chose the car and all my options. Trade-in, down payment, and financing included everything.Ive worked with dealers before and this happens quite often. The price on your contract is the price you need to pay. If they price is $400 less than what this guy is asking for, that was a screw up on their part and not your problem.
What are these 4500 worth of options they are holding over your head? Can you have them done elsewhere? We’re they included in the origin bill of sale?
Does the bill of sale specifically state that the wheel powder coating would be $400?Front, rear, and side splitters, side window deflectors, spoiler, and interior lighting kit. They were included, yes. I chose the car and all my options. Trade-in, down payment, and financing included everything.
They were going to powder coat the wheels for $400. I told them I don't want that done so take the $400 off. They are saying they took the $400 off of the price *without* the powder coating so I'm now $400 short. That sounds like they made the mistake and should have figured everything out on their end before putting it on a contract.
I told them I didn't want it so they took $400 off and didn't put it on the bill at all. They did all adjustments before it went anywhere so the price they gave to Finance and we signed is the out the door price.Does the bill of sale specifically state that the wheel powder coating would be $400?
Just give them the car back.. and if you traded in a car, ask for that back as well.Problem is I still need to deal with them to get my extra options ordered and installed. That's why I'm starting to lean towards telling them they need to cancel ALL my options and cut me a check for the difference. They either eat $400 or $4500-ish.
My dealer ( Walnut Creek Honda ) tells me the factory takes these surveys very seriously.I hope you destroy them on your customer survey.
depends on the state, if the dealer takes you to court and loses they pay your legal fees in some states.I thought of similar action, but it seems like legal fees would far outweigh the $400.
You did not want wheel powder coating so you should not have to pay. They are lucky that you did not ask them to remove the coating. They should eat that $400.I told them I didn't want it so they took $400 off and didn't put it on the bill at all. They did all adjustments before it went anywhere so the price they gave to Finance and we signed is the out the door price.
So what they're trying to say is that they left off the $400 and then accidentally took the $400 off the price that didn't need $400 taken off. To me, that sounds like they screwed up.
