This is exciting but i am uneasy if i should keep buying parts. It seems like 400hp range is sketch without built block or something along those lines. I'll probably trade in and buy a mustang or something :(

Are there any DIY install guides for this? I'm assuming you don't need to take the turbo off and it just bolts up to the intake inlet?? I'm scheduled to get tuned Saturday after next and now seeing this I'm scrambling to figure out who could install it and when I could get it before my tuning session...

i started to think this way too because of the fuel system ... Every part i added on (changed from afe intake to prl intake and charge pipes), i've had to lower my torque target cause i'm capped on fuel lol .... So when i add this pipe, i'm probably going to have to lower it again.

its like 5 10mm bolts on top and 2 14mm(iirc) bolts on the compressor side.

Thanks, I found the install guide. Does anyone know when this would be shipped? I see pre order is live Friday, but how long before we can get them??

Any foreseeable issues with running this inlet with a stock tune?
Though the ECU will compensate and can be run with our TIP, we recommend a tune for optimal performance.

I have an eventuri intake which would I choose?
This was not designed to be used with the Eventuri Intake, only ours or the factory intake. We have had customers use our Stage 1 intake hose with the Eventuri, though, so the "Stock" version hose may be able to be used with minor modification.

Does this mean we will not be able to order through our vendors? In Canada this saves us about 6 million dollars in duty fees.
The first batch will ONLY be sold through our site. All vendor orders will be moved to the second batch.

We will be posting an install before shipping. The install for this is rather straight forward. Please note that the ETA of shipping will be released Friday as well.

PRL will have to answer on when they will ship since nothing has been mention on that aspect. However I will say I am pretty confident that it will not ship out prior to your tuning session next week.

Yep, and that saddens me :(

I'm debating whether I buy now and sit on it until I have more parts necessitating a tune or just put it on after the tune and let it ride. I might even see if IMW will make a couple tweaks post install but then I feel like I'll have a less than optimal tune.

Will the second batch still be the presale price? Ordering through vendors saves us literally about 80 to 100 dollars in fees and shipping. I don't mind waiting until the second batch if so but if not then the presale price would be null for us.

Wanted to run this bad but don't have a custom tune. Only running Ktuner stage1. I did hear Hondata is working to make a base map (fk8 reviews said so) to include this TIP. I wish Ktuner was as well. If they are, haven't heard anything. So that would be another $500 unfortunately :( I'm out for now. Looks like an awesome product though.

$499.99 is the price. There is no discount.

What would actually be degraded? I guess I'm asking for safety sake. I can understand you wouldn't receive the full power advantage from this add on without a custom tune but like some intakes out there, would it affect other things like fuel ratios, car stuttering, idling, etc? If the car would still run fine just with not the benefits of all the extra power this would bring, then I guess I would see no harm in purchasing.

Nothing that affects safety, keep in mind that the turbo inlet pipe is a post-MAF sensor modification and our testing was performed without custom tuning. This car was then daily driven for quite some time without any issues. We simply recommend a tune for optimal performance given the fact that the tubing diameter(s) is/are changed significantly, so airflow characteristics are indeed altered.
