I'm having a weird issue. I'm running the sirimoto flex fuel kit, and recently, i've started throwing a code for "idle is higher than expected" or P0507. Weird thing is, it's intermittent, and it will tend to idle around 1k, but sometimes it will idle fine. Not sure if it's a vacuum leak yet, but for that code it says it could also be the ECT2 sensor, which is the one i had to plug into the sirimoto kit. This is a new issue, as i've been running the kit for over a month. Any ideas?

Recently with my A/C off at traffic lights, I noticed that my idle was floating over 1K rpm then fluctuated. I never noticed this before because it would never happen with the A/C on during the summer months. Since it is now the fall season where I live, I don't use the A/C as much and the idle issue was more prominent, and I eventually threw a P0507 code.

The code pointed out to a high idle issue like you mentioned so I was thinking what could cause it. For me, it turned out to be my oil catch can hoses.

If you have an oil catch can, check your hose clamp connections. It turned out that the rubber hoses supplied with my catch can kit hardened over time and became loose at the valve cover and catch can nipples. I bought some new hose clamps and re-tightened everything. Cleared the codes and noticed no more idle issues with the A/C on or off. It's been fine for over a couple hundred miles now with no more P0507 code.

Ditch the catch can. It is unnecessary per months of research by PRL.

I actually did check my JLT catch can, and it appeared one of the hose clamps were stripped out (idk how). I re tightened everything intake and noticed some airbox screws backed out. After doing all that I re-flashed my tune and the problem went away. I'm guessing it was a vacuum leak either by the intake, or the catch can. Thanks for the response!

you ever fix you problem im having the same issue after installing the prl flex fuel kit sometimes my car idles high and up and down then stays at 1k and it throws the code P0507... its a 2019 civic type r i took my car to a dyno and they said it can be tuned because it had a leak somewhere witch i know it doesn't because it didn't do any of that before the prl flex fuel kit
