We have lots of speed bumps here in my country. Now I ran into a new type where they have been making a 10 cm tall curb in the driving direction. It was colored white, and at first, I took it as something just painted on the road... but no. 10 cm. tall, and I rammed it. I could here it touching the buttom of the car at the passenger side (right side).

I checked for fluids... everything seems ok. Car drive fine... Anything to worry about? What to check?

Regards, Lars.

At 10cm (or 4 inches), you aren't going to hit much. Probably just scraped the plastic shield under the engine and the car came back down.

But to sleep better, put a piece of large piece cardboard under the engine and watch for anything dripping.

You can also check to see if your oil pan is okay. Make sure the oil pan gasket is still doing it's job.

Checking the oil many times. Does not seem to leak

How about any important carrying part of the body. Could it be scraped? Rust issue? Still higher than 10 cm?
