Borla exhaust on type R

For those still in the market for an exhaust!

If you tried to watch this video earlier and couldn’t I apologize. Had some copyrights issues that’s why the music covered the sound. Everything is fixed and back up.

With a catback does the type r need a tune I want more sound with keeping my warranty

No you don’t need a tune... there should be no type of error code with a catback install unless you did something wrong. A tune does give you more aggressive sound tho

I'm a bit lost, when the exhaust is put on all I hear is music I never hear the exhaust? Heard all the other ones earlier in the clip when revved in the lot but the Borla? Can't hear at all? Anyone else?

Sounds great - had Borla's on the following vehicles, always loved the results -

2004 Cobra
2008 STi

So I have a video for the muffler delete and to be honest, I think the audio was enhanced in this current video coz it’s not loud at all. The borla exhaust is definitely louder and more toned

Lol...it’s a bit pricy compared to what you get in some other exhaust options but definitely worth it!

Ohhh yes I've seen the cost on those babies, probably why I want to do the #63 tip. cause it is the least expensive of the bunch lol. The sound is music to my ears; it isn't whiny, it is a little meaty without being HEY LOOK AT ME I'M HERE imo hahaha.

thank you for posting this. When i first got my Type R, back in April, I couldnt find many videos for this exhaust.
