A follow up.

I went in for service A1 and for the vibrations in braking, they did the A9 brake service. Of course I complained about this A9 service and they said this is a Honda directive and the dealership has no say in this.
However, they did replace the front pads and rotors at no charge.

Picked up the car the next day and it was perfect.
Where the pads and rotors covered under warranty by Honda? I'm surprised a dealership will change them at no cost if Honda is not going to pay them.
How much was the A9 service in total?

The service advisor he talked to Honda Canada and they approved the brake works. In additional to the front brake, they also replaced the rear pads and machined the rotors.

The A9 is $175. With the oil change, I paid altogether $250.

Hi there, I am in a similar situation. My rear rotors look just like yours with 18,000km on the car. What was the TSB # for this and at what dealer in Ontario did you get it done at?

Sorry, maybe I misunderstood. Did the dealer tell you there was a TSB out for rotors with that premature wear? Or did they just say they would replace it under warranty? My dealer service manager told me that premature rotor wear was very common, and to perform a brake service first to see if they improve, and then we can look to replace them under warranty.

There was no mention of TSB.
I complained about the A9 service. The car at the time had 21K miles and it was too early for brake service. My service adviser said he would do something for me. After a few hours, he told me that Honda Canada had approved the replacement of front rotors and pads, machine the rear rotors and replace the rear pads.

26k kilometers on my 2018 si, rear rotors and pads didn’t pass inspection due to scoring and rusting of the outer edge. Dealer is replacing them under warranty, thank god.

Update on my warped rear rotors. Changed my winter tires for summer tires today. I'm at 66 000 Km and 4 winters in. The rear brakes still work, but they're definitely need to be replaced along with the pads.

The pictures were taken before i've driven the car. The only contact area is about half of the lower rotor.
