2016 EXT engine

Hello Guys,

I have a 2016 civic ext with 35k the passenger side seat shakes a lot when stopped at a red light in DRIVE. Brought it to the HONDA dealership they said “the engine sounds louder than a normal civic would”, they checked struts, engine mounts and the shake is still there. The honda tech recommended I’d leave the car so they could further more investigate the issue but will be charged $400 if it’s not engine or transmission because then it would not be covered under warranty. Does anyone else have this problem?

Is your A/C off? The 1.5T idles very low (600rpm) when the A/C is off. This causes a lot of vibration when stopped in gear.

Yeah normally I turn it off. And the passenger seat and cabin start to shake significantly. When in park without AC or heater on it’s idling at around 700rpm

It’s normal, once the rpm go under 700, it shake.

Yup it’s normal. No ac shake
