So second time this has happened cruise control set at 70 in comfort mode and the cruise cuts off gives me a flashing red CEL and check oil system warning prompt. Last about 15 seconds then I get power back and it puts me back into sport mode. First time was at 1k miles. And now after oil change to amsoil product it happened again. Levels are perfect but I DO NOT want the idiots at honda touching my car if I can help it. Any idea's here?

I have the same issue but in r mode. Similar symptom as yours with dtc p0560. I am looking into it.
That reminded me. Yeah no codes but I drive 58 miles each way to work so probably cleared on my way home. It's only happened twice but still concerning with a car that has 4k miles. I'm hoping faulty sensor or loose connection haven't started poking around under hood yet.

Have you tried hooking up a scanner to your car to see if it stored any codes? The PCM should store a dtc if something has triggered a cel. You may not see a check engine light on your dash. My car had 500 miles when this problem first occured. I scanned my car for Code and had P0560 - System Voltage malfunction. I was able to duplicate this symptom again in R mode every now and then and never an issue in the default sport mode. Car is bone stock as well.

I just ran it on my scanner and found nothing. Well I have a small 500 watt sub and an intake but that's it. I'm going to keep my scanner in the car and try to pull when it happens again.

I had access to the dealership scanner and was able to retrieve the code. I don't think your sub or intake would of cause that issue. Will keep you posted on my finding this week.

Anything on this , same thing happened to me this morning to work, sport mode , cruising to work at 70mph no cruise control , this things come up for like 2 seconds(check oil level, red check engine flashing and there was antoher one but I couldnt see it in time it happened quickly) I lose power car stutters and everything goes away and goes back to normal. At the moment no warnings or anything whatsoever.

I wish it would stay on long enough to run a code. I'm leaning towards pressure switch is bad or a wiring issue. I keep trying to get a repeat but so far only every 2k miles or so it happens. Which means dealer wont even look into it because they wont just trust anyone.

I had a similar issue on a different vehicle. It happened mostly when I was taking a turn onto the on ramp and then would disappear. Check to see if you are leaking oil. I remeber the dealership didn't tighten my oil filter enough and it was leaking oil. The car was basically brand new.

Everything was fine, I checked everything I could see before heading into the dealer. Most likely ECU , sensor or some wiring was tripping for 2 secs and went back to normal. I'm just really disappointed at overall quality of newer hondas, only thing I had to fix on my 05 S2000 that I owned for about 3 years and put about 50k miles on it(yep I drove the hell out of it and used to beat on it all the time) was leaky clutch master cylinder.

Well I took the car 6 times already to dealer just for rattles and creaks in the interior and they still cant get it right to fix them , clutch pedal is clicking when I fully press it in(they say its normal at the dealer ) , shifter started having some play already and I don't even wanna talk about thin paint and cheap ass windshield on the R.. Overall it feels cheap and It is really frustrating and this is my 5th honda and non of them felt this way, if it wasn't for a driving experience and how much blast is to drive it around that helps me forget all this issues I would trade it first time the interior started rattling lol

My dealership is really eager to fix rattles, but leveled with me that unless there is an actual defect (missing clip, broken piece) that all they're going to do is install a bunch of foam tape. You're better off DIYing rattles; I just fixed the most obnoxious one to me with a great write up and video here on the forum about tweeter rattle.

https://www.civicx.com/threads/passenger-side-front-tweeter-driver-buzzing.15659/page-2#post-692429
I already started foam taping area by area I gave up on the dealer fixing it, just dont have much time on my hands to do it all. The worst one I cant really stand is dash speaker, I put some foam tape around it but looks like rattle is coming from inside the speaker. When I take it out it stops. And weird thing is the hotter it gets outside the worse the rattle is

I will definitely look into tweeter rattle since both of mine are rattling , thanks for the DIY video

electronics can go crazy if the battery is bad. I wouldnt be surprised if it was defective. Mine seemed to misbehave after leaving my fob in the car overnight. My guess is the fob kept the car "awake" and caused a small drain on the battery. Bad enough that I had strange whining noises from power steering at low speeds and my infotainment would reset everytime i turned the steering wheel.

I had to drive it a lot for the issue to go away (dont have a charger where I park). Dealer couldn't find anything wrong either. It has not done it since. No warning lights or trouble codes.

I've also seen bad batteries cause the dash to light up like a christmas tree in older Hondas.

Of course, this is assuming OP's oil levels are correct.
