I think he means to make things easier when installing a spare and switching back to front. I wouldn't want to run a spare on the front for too long (or really at all) due to the LSD. You can get by with a single scissor.Wow perfect timing. I may need to look into getting one of these.. have also contemplated carrying a full size OEM spare for long trips.
Did you say we need (2) scissor jacks to raise the car to switch tires?
If you have a flat front, you would jack the back up and put the spare on the back, then lower the back of the car and jack the front up. Swap the back good wheel with the front flat. Done with a single jack.
If you had two Jack's you could loosen lugs on both wheels on a side then jack up front and back. Would save a bit of time.
I hope I never have to swap in heat. I wouldn't want to get back in the car all sweaty. I'm gonna throw a clean towel in the back that I can lay on the seat if that ever happens.
