puddle lights ?

has anyone seen puddle lights for our Civics? I saw a few bulky crappy aftermarket ones but has anyone seen a decent product?

I saw a post where someone wrote up his instructions for it. Try searching for it.

idk if they changed anything on the underbody for the 2019s but puddle lights have actually became an oem add on accessory on 2019+. i'm sure it'll fit on pre 2019. don't quote me on that though.

my friend does PDI for honda and he sent me this pic when he was installing them the first time. Maybe you can take a look on your car and see. Worst case, you can probably modify some stuff and make it fit.

I don’t think the rocker panels will be a problem getting the lights to fit. I’m more concerned about the connections behind the dash. If those aren’t there, it’d be a lot of work to get everything to function correctly.

Here’s the response from College Hills Honda. Exactly what I was afraid of.

This is not something we have tried, so we cannot say for sure if it will work or not. According to Honda, they do not work on the previous models. There could be differences within the wiring harnesses already in the vehicle.
