Hello there,
I just finished installing Ktuner tune, RV6 downpipe and frontpipe, PRL intake system and IC. The car is noticeble more powerful but the front tires start to hook up in 3rd gear. What tires do you guys recommend ? I want to stick to the OEM 20" wheels as they look perfect with the H&R 30mm spacers.

Have you considered the reduced low end tq or power on 1st and 2nd gear map from ktuner? Just want to throw option.

Yes, I do have dampened 1st gear. I don't think is does much for 2nd though...

Oh ok, I switched to Hondata Flashpro almost a year ago. Recently switched to 1st and 2nd gear reduced power map and it helps a ton. Im getting closer to get the car tuned and the tuner will bring down power where the car likes to spin. Not a whole lot we can do with the OTS maps unless you change the parameters assuming you know how to.

I have hondata, and I have custom torque throttle tables for 1, and 2 gear, no wheel spin at all, at least you are driving on wet surface, VSA fully off R mode.
I'm pretty sure k tuner has something similar

On ktuner you can just turn the torque down in 1st and 2nd. It also lets you change the power by drive mode, so I have R mode a bit higher in 1st and 2nd for when I'm on smooth pavement and the tires are warm.

The tires the car comes with can't hold the power when it is stock. I put 245/35/R20 Pirelli PZero N0 on the front and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on the back. I tested both on the front and preferred the Pirellis. The extra 1/2 in of sidewall is nice for a car I drive daily. I still have issues scraping coming out of the parking garage.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500, not too expensive and lots of grip on the road.

I would get Hondata and setup Hondata TC, especially if your tires have a lot of meat left.

Odd though im in 8 - 15 Celsius weather atm and my car grips just fine with 26-27psi in 2nd gear above 3000rpm

This is on stock tires.

I used these. ps4s 255/35/20. A bit wider and thicker than own tires. Everyone swears by them. When I got them they were on sale for a little over $900 for 4. They grip for days.
I doubt you'll find them anywhere for the price I got them at.
