I just got a 2020 Honda Civic HB EX and wanted to install a type R spoiler and some red trims. Where do I buy this stuff? Would it be better to bring it to a shop and ask them to do it?

I got mine from eBay and mine came prepainted.

the closest replica that you can buy comes unpainted from ABS DYNAMICS

http://www.absdynamics.com/2016-201...r-trunk-lid-spoiler_SPOILER-C175D-TR_1967.php

the paint job will cost another $250-500 depending which state you're at.

***my personal recommendation; choose what type of mods you want to prioritize first: external? internal? performance gain?

start with something simple like changing your interior lights to LED, and then work your way up from there.

some notable mods:
-interior LED lights
-Weathertech floormats
-external lights: HID conversion
-front strut bar
-sway bar
-Lowering springs or coilovers (much more preferred)
-new wheels
-Type R Spoiler
-Hondata or Ktuner (much more preferred) - BEST VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY

***I know I'm missing a lot more stuff; these are just on the top of my head, but nonetheless, at least this will give you a head start.

Red trim as in the outside or inside?

as for the type r spoiler. I’m actually looking to get one now and I am paying $450 for the spoiler. Paint matched and installed.

For me I wouldn’t go with the spoiler first. It will look funky imo on a fully stock car.

Just some suggestions
Smoked side markers
Tint
Wheels
LED or hid headlights

I don't think so it added alot to the rear, but I must admit, it will look better when it's lowered. Im waiting to lower mine once my warranty expires.

Did the absdynamics on my fully stock car and was surprised how good it looked. Was planning on doing the whole type R body kit but now I'm not sure its needed. It might be worth noting I have the sport though, so I think it has a slightly more aggressive body kit on it stock. Check my garaaage haha

Well yeah the sport looks great with it stock. A non sport doesn’t. I’m still not sure if I want one on my non sport and I have wheels. Lip. Side shirts. Customer exhaust and more lol.

Makes sense actually, now that I think back a big factor for me was how much I would've had to do to the exterior to make it look right with the ridiculous wing lol. And I do mean ridiculous in a good way, that was the first mod I did to my car. Couldn't get the damn thing on fast enough haha. But to your point, OP may not want to just slap the wing on a non sport, it would most likely look out of place. Good thinking on that one man!

Will reinforce the suggestions for smoked side markers, they actually make a huge difference. I did switchbacks so they flash with the turn signal. PITA but now that it's done, I can help others so it takes mere minutes. I did footwell lighting as well, that's super easy. A few more I would suggest:

Mud flaps (rallyarmour are awesome, super easy to mount with no prior experience)
Rain guards
Ktuner or Hondata (Huge power for the money)
Krown rust proofing - Since you have 2020, get the krown treatment now and then once a year before the anniversary, and they will guarantee a lot of parts on the car

He can easily make it work tho because I don’t think it would look bad on mine and I’m actually thinking about getting one soon. I think it just needs some more stuff to make it not look so out of place.

New to modding as well, Tint is the first thing im going to get - but not sure which % I'm going to land on. What level of tint do you have in this picture?

For me it would be:
LED or HID headlights.
Window tint.
Interior LEDs.
All-Weather floor mats.
Clear or smoked side markers.
Window visors.
As for the spoiler, I would rather get the Tailgate spoiler:

I have a love hate relationship with that spoiler. I think I like it and then I seen it on a white car painted black and it looked weird to me. But I think it would look good on mine. I don’t know lol.
