get out of Cali, for what you pay for a 500 S.F. apartment in San Fran you can pay the mortgage on a 2,000+ S.F. 3+ bedroom house around here (and thats using the LOW END pricing on Apartments.com for the San Fran Area) That city is just stupidly priced. I'm not even joking, the MORTGAGE on my 12 year old house (built in 2007) is $830 a month and it's 1,250 S.F. per level 2 story house.

Also outside of Cali the air restrictions aren't so strict so we can do better performance mods without breaking the law.

GA is a beautiful state I have to agree. I lived in Atlanta and Macon for a year. Great people.

Very boring here. Hubby drives a black 2017 Jeep Cherokee, and stepson drives a gray 2010 Prius. At one point I also owned a 1977 Triumph Spitfire as my "fun" car, but I sold that car years ago. Wish I hadn't!

Very nice. I traded a 2014 428i (F32) in for my Civic. Man, I loved that car, but it was so expensive to maintain, and I had just hit 100K miles so it started feeling like a scary money pit. The Civic was my practical long term move. :)

For now, my 2019 CW CTR, my father's 2019 SI, and my old 2014 EX Sedan. All manual transmission,so pick your poison really.

Almost time for my CTR to head into slumber soon :( but the 2014 is still fun to drive. Different experience.

I had an E46 328 back in the day. Loved it but wow it was expensive to maintain. I feel you.

Ha, my father had a white car before I was born. Since then though it's been black, and silver.

Then in 2014 I bought my first car and dabbled between white and black, but ended up going with white. Had the same internal battle between white and black for my CTR and well, the rest is history.

I was going to give my father my old 14 and run my CTR all 4 seasons.. but then he saw it and loved it too much. Ended up telling me to just drive the "old" car in the winter and store the CTR, and he ended up with a 2019 SI..

Proper!!!!
Thanks! Something about a V8 6MT sedan seems very fun.

Wow you were driving it a lot! Maintenance on BMW is higher if you aren't doing a lot of it on your own or know a good shop to take care of you.

I've been very happy with M3 even with the BMW tax for maintenance as it is purely a fun weekend/track car. It's pretty fun on the track. ;)
