Yeah, I could understand that.
9.5" wheel with 38mm offset pushes the outside lip of the wheel out 1.25" farther than stock.

That will pull it in .25"

It all depends on what YOU want it to look like.
If you can determine how much you want to pull the outside of the lip in (from what you have pictured) then the math can begin.

Rolling 18x9 with +45 offset would pull it in .5", yet still accommodate your 255/35R18 Firestone Indy 500's
